Water filter purchasing FAQ
Practical questions for distributors, equipment suppliers and private-label buyers preparing a filtration project.
What information helps select a water filter?
Provide the application, installation location, current water report, equipment model, required flow or daily demand and available space. The appropriate configuration depends on both water conditions and equipment requirements.
How do I confirm replacement cartridge compatibility?
Send the exact machine or housing model, current cartridge reference and connector details. Confirm cartridge body dimensions and fit using a drawing or sample; unit-box dimensions describe packaging.
Can I choose treatment from TDS alone?
Review TDS together with hardness, alkalinity, disinfectant residuals and other application-relevant results. Include the equipment supplier's water requirements when requesting a proposed configuration.
Are cartridge replacement intervals the same everywhere?
Follow the instructions for the selected cartridge and equipment. Water conditions and usage affect replacement planning; listed reference intervals should be reviewed for the installation.
What should I request to support a performance claim?
Request documentation for the exact product or cartridge configuration and its stated test conditions. Check the model, scope and dates rather than assuming a company certificate applies to every product.
What information is needed for an OEM or private-label enquiry?
Provide the product reference or drawing, target market, estimated quantity and branding or packaging requirements. Confirm sampling, documentation and supply terms for the agreed configuration.

Questions about the current model references
- Which faucet models are listed as not for direct drinking?
- HY-18, HY-19 and HY-20 carry that intended-use statement in their supplied specifications. Read the individual model tables rather than applying one family-level description to every product.
- Does seven-stage filtration mean seven replaceable cartridges?
- No such equivalence is stated in the product reference. Supplier fields labelled in stages must not be silently converted into a cartridge count. Confirm the selected configuration and replacement method.
- Where can I compare the published HY and CMF models?
- The model reference links to current tables, source labels and reference downloads. Missing data remains unspecified.
- Does a product image prove a certification or service-life claim?
- A graphic illustrates supplied features and appearance. Use the evidence notes to distinguish a supplier statement from model-specific test evidence and confirmed supply terms.
